About the Role:
The successful candidate will be an experienced Operations Manager with a proven track record of delivering business success in a bespoke manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in luxury/high-end manufacturing or working in innovative manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing and Operations: Management and control of manufacturing, operations, and logistics functions, including high-value projects.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for and implement actions to improve manufacturing processes, production, lead times, and product quality.
- Fiscal Control: Ensure effective fiscal control of all budget responsibilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop and expand a continuous improvement culture throughout the business.
- Supply Chain and Procurement: Review supply chain and procurement functions and negotiate cost reductions.
- Performance Review: Lead regular performance review meetings and report to the board of directors.
- Compliance: Ensure legal compliance throughout the business.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of delivering business success in a bespoke manufacturing environment.
- Experience in luxury/high-end manufacturing or working in innovative manufacturing environments.
- Previous management experience in the fabrication, assembly, or bespoke manufacturing (metals, wood, composites).
What We Offer:
- Excellent basic salary negotiable £75K - £85K + Benefits Negotiable.
