About the Role:

Elysium Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lakefields Neurological Centre. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist psychological interventions to individuals with complex neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake high-quality specialist psychological interventions, on a referral basis.
  • Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertaking assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
  • Support colleagues from other professions to develop the service.
  • Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological interventions.
  • Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of psychological practice.
  • Maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines, and Company Policies and Procedures.

Requirements:

  • BPS recognised psychology degrees and have Chartered Psychologist status.
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Have understanding of evidence-based psychological practice.
  • Have experience of applying psychological knowledge to neurological services.
  • Be experienced working with clients with neurocognitive deficits.
  • Have previous experience of conducting research and project working.
