About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare's Lakefields Neurological Centre. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality specialist psychological interventions to individuals with complex neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake high-quality specialist psychological interventions, on a referral basis.
- Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations, undertaking assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semi-structured clinical methods.
- Support colleagues from other professions to develop the service.
- Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological interventions.
- Professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of psychological practice.
- Maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines, and Company Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- BPS recognised psychology degrees and have Chartered Psychologist status.
- Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Understanding of evidence-based psychological practice.
- Experience of applying psychological knowledge to neurological services.
- Experience working with clients with neurocognitive deficits.
- Previous experience of conducting research and project working.
