Position Overview: TPF Recruitment is in search of a proficient Audit Team Leader to guide our audit division, directly reporting to a Partner within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
  • Foster and sustain robust client relationships, acting as a reliable consultant on audit-related issues and offering insightful recommendations to improve their operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate the planning, execution, and reporting phases of audits, which include risk evaluation, materiality assessment, and audit testing procedures.
  • Examine and assess audit documentation, financial reports, and associated disclosures to guarantee precision, thoroughness, and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Guide and mentor audit personnel, providing support on technical issues, career development, and performance enhancement.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the audit department, adopting best practices, tools, and technologies to boost productivity and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the formulation of firm-wide policies, procedures, and methodologies to facilitate modernization and transformation efforts.
  • Remain informed about regulatory updates, emerging trends, and industry advancements pertinent to auditing and accounting standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the audit team, alleviating the workload of the audit partner.

Qualifications:

  • ACA / ACCA certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in external auditing within a public accounting environment, with a focus on managing audit projects and client interactions.
  • Strong technical expertise in auditing standards, financial reporting obligations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data analytics tools is advantageous.
