MLK Education Search is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SENCO to join their brand new SEMH provision in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the SEN team in providing high-quality support to students with SEMH and associated needs
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student well-being and academic success
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless support for students
- Manage and coordinate the provision of SEN services, including assessments and interventions
- Provide guidance and support to staff on SEN-related matters
Requirements
- Qualified and/or experienced SENCO or SEN/Inclusion leader
- Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and Independent School Standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire staff and students
- Passion for working with students with SEMH and additional needs
