About the Role

We are seeking a talented Graphic & Wayfinding Designer to join our dynamic South London Studio at Design JD. As a key member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to lead on a diverse range of projects, from wayfinding audits and strategies to branding, information graphics, and promotional materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and project requirements.
  • Lead the creative process, from developing initial design concepts to final execution.
  • Produce fresh ideas and interactive designs that push the boundaries of traditional wayfinding and graphic design.
  • Manage projects from brief to print, coordinating with external contractors, and ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Conduct surveys, write wayfinding audits and strategies, and oversee the implementation of your designs.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) on a Mac.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your skills in branding, information design, and signage.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
Additional Skills (a plus but not required)
  • Understanding of digital technologies like WordPress, HTML, CSS, and experience with video creation and editing.
  • Interest in staying up-to-date with the latest design tools and technologies, including CAD.
