We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services to patients, including cataract surgery and other ophthalmic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake cataract surgery and other ophthalmic procedures
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency eye care services
  • Teach and mentor ophthalmic trainees and medical students
  • Engage with optometry students and postgraduate optometrists undertaking higher qualifications in Glaucoma
  • Conduct research and develop new treatments and procedures
