Staff Nurse | Intensive Care Unit | Band 5 | Full Time | Permanent

Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled ICU Staff Nurse to join our dedicated intensive care team. This role offers the chance to engage in various training programs and advance your career within a supportive environment.

In this position, you will provide care for patients requiring level 2/3 support, collaborating with leading consultants in the field. Our diverse unit allows for the enhancement of your clinical skills across multiple specialties, including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, and Cardiothoracic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and effective care for Level 2/3 patients in the ICU Continuously evaluate patients' health and wellbeing needs within a dynamic caseload Assist in providing personalized care tailored to individual health requirements Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Ensure high standards of care for patients recovering from various surgical procedures Collaborate with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to plan and implement person-centred care Maintain clear communication and accurate documentation at all times

Ideal Candidate:

Registered with the NMC Previous experience in an ICU setting ICU certification is preferred or a willingness to pursue it Experience in Cardiothoracic care is advantageous but not mandatory Strong communication skills are essential
