Nursing Home Operations Manager
Salary: £60,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Weekly Commitment: 40 Hours

Role Overview:
As the Nursing Home Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the facility. Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), you will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation. Your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional care and support to residents while achieving financial objectives and maintaining optimal occupancy levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire the staff team, fostering a culture of compassion and empathy.
  • Recruit, train, and retain a skilled workforce dedicated to providing person-centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and maintain high-quality care and support.
  • Oversee the financial management of the home, ensuring budgetary targets are met.
  • Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to promote the home’s services and maintain full occupancy.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Continuously assess the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Manage risks effectively to ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing a nursing home.
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards with a track record of achieving high ratings.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated marketing and business acumen within the private care sector.
  • Passion for enhancing the quality of person-centred care.
  • Ability to contribute to the growth and development of the care service.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).
