Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join our team at Leisure Solutions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the finance function and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance team and ensure accurate recording of financial information
  • Report directly to the owners of the business and provide them with accurate financial information and analysis
  • Carry out monthly management accounts and work closely with the finance team at the parent company and the existing external accountancy practice
  • Review company objectives and assist in ensuring full financial controls are in place for a programme of planned growth and development

Requirements:

  • Full accountancy qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc)
  • Proven track record in financial planning and analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with proven commercial acumen
  • Able to react and be flexible with changing priorities
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Comfortable at communication across multiple platforms and able to report information accurately and in a time-controlled manner
  • Experience at scaling-up SME businesses, ideally in the technology sector
  • Able to assist on non-financial business, when required, including but not limited to grant applications and R&D claims

  • A competitive full-time salary of £85,000 (pro-rata for the contracted hours)
