**Position**:
**POSITION: STOCK CONTROLLER DTR**

DEPARTMENT: FINANCE

LOCATION: HERSHAM

REPORTS TO: HEAD OF FINANCE

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including stock tracking, valuation and reconciliation to ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Ensure accurate and up to date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments and disposals.
- Organise regular physical inventory counts and reconcile results with book records to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sales, operations to gather information and ensure accurate recording of stock movements.
- Prepare and analyse inventory related reports, stock levels, adjustments, develop KPI’s.
- monitor and report all cycle counts across DTR stores and warehouse.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures to optimise stock accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations related to inventory.
- Review stock expiry, request adjustments when required.
- Perform weekly DTR sales reconciliations, communicate with stores to understand any variances.
- Perform monthly stock reconciliations for boutiques, concession stores and warehouse.
- Be the lead in the Accounting team for the roll out of any new DTR stores, perform UAT’s and assist with on boarding.
- Periodic store visits to review compliance to internal control and implement any required changes.
- Any ad hoc duties relating to stock and sales directly from DTR stores

- Good knowledge of Microsoft office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ideally has knowledge of SAP and AX

- Qualified/Part qualified Accountant
- Experience of month end accounting
- Excellent team player
- Excellent analytical skills
- Quick thinking, calm under pressure, helpful and willing to deal with queries
- Must have a sense of urgency, be prompt and dynamic in a fast changing environment
- Good time management skills
- Detail conscious
