Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical Officer Scale 3 to join our team at TransLink. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our customer-facing teams, including handling cash transactions, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our financial IT systems and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths, or at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post.
  • At least 6 months' relevant clerical experience, including experience with cash transactions and customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.

Desirable Criteria:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a customer-facing role, including experience with customer inquiries and financial IT systems.
