About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Ipsum, a leading provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions. As a Project Manager for Business Improvement, you will play a key role in driving process excellence and business transformation across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging Agile methodologies and Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business needs, driving strategic improvement initiatives.
  • Provide business analysis and reporting to inform data-driven decision making, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Embed and optimise the full potential of IpsumLive Jobs, a cutting-edge platform for project management and delivery.
  • Centralise non-geographically necessary shared service tasks, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a competency system, ensuring effective administration and knowledge management across divisions.
  • Design and implement a communications plan, ensuring clear and effective communication with all employees and stakeholders.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering business improvement initiatives. You will possess:

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner/ APM Project Manager Qualification (APMP) or similar.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience of reporting, providing business analysis to influence data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management, Lean Six Sigma or similar.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A thorough approach to tackling problems and the ability to work methodically.
  • Time management and the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • A strong team player.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively at pace, make decisions in the face of competing priorities, and remain calm and resilient under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
