About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Ipsum. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a critical role in defining and maintaining project management standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure effective project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Ipsum's project management standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and vendors.
Requirements
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner/ APM Project Manager Qualification (APMP) or similar.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience of reporting, providing business analysis to influence data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management, Lean Six Sigma or similar.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A thorough approach to tackling problems and the ability to work methodically.
  • Time management and the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • A strong team player.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively at pace, make decisions in the face of competing priorities, and remain calm and resilient under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach and passion for continuous improvement, with an appetite to work with others to simplify processes and increase efficiency.
