About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Transformation Manager to join our team at ASDA. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving our transformation journey and delivering business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Management
    • Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and process improvements.
    • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Strategic Projects
    • Lead major business investments and executive priorities, delivering significant business impact.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive transformation initiatives and maintain a competitive cost base.
  • Programme Management
    • Deliver our cost and cash programme, developing expertise across all categories.
    • Build the long-term roadmap and leverage data and analytics to provide insight across the teams.
  • Transformation Leadership
    • Drive the overall procurement transformation, embedding new ways of working within the procurement team and across the ASDA business.
    • Lead the procurement technology roadmap, defining processes and setting standards.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in procurement/category management, with a track record of delivering business value.
    • Experience in influencing senior levels within a large organization.
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to craft and manage complex contracts.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Education
    • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
