Manufacturing Engineer

Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Gloucester, England. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in establishing robust processes that produce quality products in line with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Creation and maintenance of manufacturing layouts defining product routing and methods in line with company procedures.
- Creation of CNC programs utilizing company preferred CAM software.
- Creation of stage models to reflect the components routing indicating content at each operation.
- Support the utilization and deployment of new systems and tools in line with the company's 'Digital Strategy'.
- Support investigations and root cause analysis for any defective part and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist with the commissioning of new production assets.
- HNC/HND in a related engineering discipline or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience.
- Degree level in a related engineering discipline is desirable.
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 or equivalent CAD software.
- Sound knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, along with Functional Tolerancing & Annotation of 2D & 3D Model Based Definition.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite.
- Be innovative and creative with regards to problem-solving.
