About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Day Team Leader to join our Catering & Bar team on a casual basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the catering and bar operations, including staff management, stock control, and cash handling.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all guests receive a high-quality experience.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and coach team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, including health and safety, hygiene, and employment law.
  • Deal with customer feedback and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage cash handling and profit control measures within the catering and bar units.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident and friendly manner.
  • Good eye for detail and ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of licensing law and previous experience in a similar role.
