Senior Team Leader Fire Alarm Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Team Leader Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at Safe I.S., Ltd. in London & South East. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the commissioning, maintenance, and remedial work on fire alarm systems, including addressable and conventional systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in the commissioning, maintenance, and remedial work on fire alarm systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's fire safety strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning, servicing, and carrying out remedial work on fire alarm systems.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team of engineers.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of fire alarm systems, including addressable and conventional systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including on-call shifts and overtime as required.
  • Full UK driving license and ability to drive in congested areas.
