Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to join our team at HC-One. As a Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents, and delivering high-quality care services.
Key Responsibilities- Resident Care and Well-being: Ensure the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents are met, and their dignity and respect are maintained.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor your team, providing clinical guidance and training to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Care Planning: Conduct assessments, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each resident, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Compliance and Safety: Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote our residents' independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or a willingness to study for one.
- Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with kindness and consideration.
- A commitment to safeguarding and the ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect.
