Sales/Specifications
team, this position involves the creation and development of project specifications for the company’s product range. This role is well-suited for a candidate with substantial specifications experience in the construction sector.
Role Responsibilities:
- Create specifications for the product portfolio.
- Ensure a balanced distribution of specified projects across the sales area.
- Collaborate with key decision-makers and influencers to build relationships that generate new leads and specifications.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and requirements, ensuring the company is the preferred partner.
- Work with Supply Chain Partners and their design teams to generate leads and specifications for the product portfolio.
- Collaborate with the UK Commercial Team to inform, track, and record outcomes of specified projects.
- Present Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions to Architects and Interior Designers.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM system daily to document all specification activities.
- Prepare and distribute specification documentation to specifiers for projects where products are specified.
- Report on the effectiveness of Specification-related events attended.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong specification sales experience.
- Background in the manufacturing/construction sector.
- Familiarity with NBS Chorus & BIM Objects.
- Proficient in using a CRM system.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote context (occasional office visits).
