Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Lead to join our Digital team at Primark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile app experiences that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mobile app experiences that are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
  • Contribute to the development of design systems, guidelines, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency across our digital products.
  • Research and analyze user behavior to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven design solutions.
  • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, including senior management, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into our mobile app.
Requirements
  • At least 4+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on mobile app UX/UI design.
  • Native app user interface experience with a good understanding of front-end development and agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma and virtual whiteboarding tools like Miro or Mural.
  • Ability to produce design assets ready for development and create and update design systems and version control tools/processes.
  • Familiarity with agile processes and development languages such as HTML/CSS.
