Job Title: Community Project Lead

The Diocese of Guildford is seeking a skilled Community Project Lead to manage the Hear Here project, a community-focused initiative that brings together the Diocese, Parishes, NHS Audiology Departments, and Sight for Surrey to support individuals with hearing loss.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall leadership and management of the Hear Here project, ensuring high clinic standards and fostering relationships with key partners.
  • Promote the project across the diocese, highlighting its importance in parish outreach and mission.
  • Collect and analyze data from clinics for accurate and timely reporting.
  • Respond to enquiries, assist new clients in accessing clinics, and maintain the online directory.
  • Identify and secure ongoing funding to sustain and expand the project.
  • Enhance the visibility of Hear Here within the Diocese to increase clinics and community outreach.
  • Work with NHS trusts to provide up-to-date training and support.
  • Manage a team of volunteers to ensure clinics run consistently, safely, and according to required standards.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administer and oversee project governance.
Requirements:
  • UK driving licence and own vehicle for travel around the diocese.
