Become a part of our Cybersecurity Incident Response Team
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee security systems, perform triage and analysis of alerts, events, and security breaches.
- Authenticate, confirm, and document protective measures, both technical and procedural.
- Examine Security Breaches and collaborate with resolution teams.
- Manage communication channels, security ticketing systems, and escalate security incidents.
- Compile and present findings using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Address incidents in accordance with established protocols and Security Incident Management Procedures.
- Support legal and law enforcement-related matters as necessary.
- Analyze security incidents for trend identification and provide recommendations.
- Deliver Critical Incident Response Reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Establish and sustain a critical vulnerability management framework.
- Address security information inquiries from clients.
- Take charge of significant incidents and update response protocols.
Training Requirements:
- Complete required training in line with Enterprise/Practice standards.
- Stay informed about threat actors, advanced persistent threats, and zero-day vulnerabilities.
- Exhibit a passion for skill enhancement and knowledge acquisition.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing cybersecurity incidents.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience in log analysis.
- Familiarity with Protective Monitoring Tools and Threat/Vulnerability management.
- Experience in malware alert assessment and working within Security Operations Centers (SOCs).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Recognized security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or a commitment to obtain such accreditation.
- Background in the security sector, public service, or military.
- Understanding of Incident Response Team tools and forensic requirements.
