Job Overview

Position: IT Service Management Specialist

Location: Flexible working arrangements available.

Compensation: Approximately £37,000 based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates IT Service Management, executing live IT service activities based on ITIL methodologies, including Service Continuity, Risk Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Patch Management, Security Vulnerability Management, Change Management, and Defect Management.
  • Delivers IT Service Management through a strategic mix of internal teams and external partners.
  • Evaluates, analyzes, develops, documents, and implements enhancements to processes or functions.
  • Contributes to the creation of new or improved practices and organizational standards, fostering localized enhancements to service quality.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Understanding of business unit policies and operational processes.
  • Experience in an IT environment.
  • Familiarity with a Service Integration and Management (SIAM) framework is advantageous.
  • Background in a similar role or setting.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Availability Management, Capacity Management, and Security Vulnerability Management is highly beneficial.
