Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at MWH Treatment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering design services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cost-effective design layouts that meet client requirements and can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
  • Ensure that standard practices are utilised wherever possible to maintain competitiveness and provide estimates and feedback for the Proposals department.
  • Work to procedures and processes to ensure the continuing development of the department and assist in developing procedures and processes.
  • Monitor and review procedures and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate designs with all other disciplines internal and external to MWH Treatment to ensure that design processes carried out on contracts are coordinated for the benefit of the contract as a whole.
  • Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts and assure customer satisfaction.
  • Work within a culture where satisfying the customer is recognised as the key to achieving other objectives and maintain a personal development plan.
  • Assist in supervising and developing staff and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Reduce waste to a minimum from all departmental activities and ensure designs take account of environmental issues.
  • Ensure that design takes full regard of all health and safety requirements.
