As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursery, providing exceptional care and education to our children, and supporting the development of our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Manager in the daily running of the nursery, including leadership of the team and management of nursery operations.
- Take responsibility for the management of the nursery in the absence of the Manager or Deputy Manager.
- Support the development of our staff, including training, mentoring, and supervision.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality education and care to our children, meeting legislative requirements and following the education curriculum.
- Contribute to the development of our nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Engage with the local community, promoting our nursery and providing excellent customer care.
- A full and relevant level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
- DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector.
- Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate.
- Safeguarding training and qualification.
- Minimum of 2 year's post-qualifying experience in childcare or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year's leadership experience in childcare or a related field.
- A competitive salary of £25,000.
