About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join our Homelessness Support team at Two Saints. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting your team to achieve their potential and providing high-quality support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision and Development
    • Provide regular staff supervision, coaching, and reflective practice to support team members in achieving their goals.
    • Facilitate team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Service Delivery and Operations
    • Work closely with the Service Leader to ensure the service is fully operational and clients are receiving the appropriate support.
    • Monitor and report on service KPIs to ensure we are meeting our targets.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships
    • Develop relationships with local communities, external partners, and stakeholders to increase the presence of our service in the area.
    • Identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership to support our clients and service.
  • Caseload Management and Support
    • Support a small caseload of clients and provide regular check-ins to ensure their needs are being met.
    • Work with the team to prioritize high-risk management referrals and ensure timely responses to crisis situations.
  • Complaints and Safeguarding
    • Ensure an effective and timely response to all complaints and safeguarding issues.
    • Take appropriate action to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.
  • Reporting and Data Management
    • Collate data and generate reports as required to support service improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • Experience of working in a residential or institutional sector.
    • Relevant qualifications or training in a related field.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong keyboard skills for data inputting.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Ability to respond calmly to crisis situations.
    • Deal promptly with and effectively react to challenging situations.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Confident and assertive manner.
    • Strong team working skills.
    • Interest and genuine concern for homelessness and related issues.
