Mobile Electrician Job Description

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mobile Electrician to join our team. As a Mobile Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and reactive work for a leading facilities provider.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Reactive Work: Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time.
  • Reactive Tasks: Carry out reactive tasks throughout the sites, including plant faults and defects.
  • Documentation: Complete all relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive, and breakdown works.
  • CAFMS Update: Update customers' computer-aided facilities management system (CAFM) in real time.
  • Plant Maintenance: Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.
  • Sub-Contractor Supervision: Supervise and monitor sub-contractors' works while they are on site undertaking maintenance.
  • On-Call Rota: Participate in the teams' on-call rota and be available for overtime.
Person Specification:
  • Industry Qualification: A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.
  • 18th Edition Qualification: 18th Edition or equivalent qualification.
  • Trade Qualification: Trade qualified Electrician with post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Driver's Licence: Must have a full clean driver's licence.
  • Legionella Awareness: Legionella awareness (preferable – training can be provided).
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
  • Teamwork: Able to work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Standby Rota: Must be available to participate in an out-of-hours standby rota.
