Female Personal Assistant / Support Worker required to assist an elderly person with poor mobility living in the Cumbernauld area.

You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within their home, at day centre and in the community including attending to personal care. Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:

- Attending to all personal care needs (including
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Moving and assisting
- General Housework
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living.

Driver essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid OR as you will be required to drive a mobility vehicle.
- The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds._

Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Experience is not essential as training will be provided.

The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**

Recruiting for positions.

Guaranteed permanent position of 12.5 hours per week.

**Days and times**:
Monday to Friday 9am till 10:30am

Monday till Friday - 1 hour in the evening 8pm till 9pm

**Hourly rate**:
£12.00 per hour
