Job Summary:
XPO Transport Solutions UK Limited is seeking a skilled Transport Operator to join our team. As a Transport Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily transport plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch daily loads and routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods
- Monitor driver performance and mitigate any risks of failure, maintaining proactive communication with customers
- Debrief drivers, utilizing our Track & Trace IT solution to optimize operations
- Dispatch trunks and full truck loads on our Transport Management System, ensuring haulier partners are logged into our Track & Trace app
- Collaborate with the 3PL warehouse team to ensure seamless operations
- Communicate key information to management and hand over to other shifts to ensure a smooth transition
- Ensure adherence to all process and procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to think on your feet
- Transport Management System experience (SHARP preferred)
- Experience using Track & Trace to support operational decisions
- Exposure to transport compliance and regulation
