Job Title: Transport Operator PM

We are seeking a skilled Transport Operator to join our team at XPO Transport Solutions UK Limited. As a Transport Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of daily transport plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch daily loads and routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods
  • Monitor driver performance and mitigate any risks of failure, maintaining proactive communication with customers
  • Debrief drivers, utilizing our Track & Trace IT solution to optimize operations
  • Dispatch trunks and full truck loads on our Transport Management System, ensuring haulier partners are logged into our Track & Trace app
  • Daily interaction with the 3PL warehouse team, ensuring seamless operations
  • Communicate key information to management and hand over to other shifts, ensuring a smooth transition
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are followed, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to think on your feet
  • Transport Management System experience (SHARP preferred)
  • Experience using Track & Trace to support operational decisions
  • Exposure to transport compliance and regulation
