Job Description

As a Site Manager with the United Living Group, you will be responsible for the effective management, delivery, and support of key sites. Your primary objective will be to ensure that programme requirements are met while working in line with both Company and divisional objectives and achieving the client and customer aspirations and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management
    • Ensure site standards are maintained, assist with risk assessment, conduct accident investigations, issue site instructions, and conduct regular site inspections.
  • Production Management
    • Work to programme and mitigate lost time where possible.
  • Quality Management
    • Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained. Complete quality records and maintain process capability.
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting
    • Identify and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • RAMS Preparation and Review
    • Prepare and review RAMS for site activities.
  • Construction Plan Management
    • Maintain and update construction plans and associated documentation.
Cost Control
  • Manpower Management
    • Manage manpower resources effectively.
  • Materials Management
    • Manage materials resources effectively.
  • Plant and Vehicle Management
    • Manage plant and vehicle resources effectively.
  • Damages and Theft Control
    • Minimize damages and thefts.
Liaison and Communication
  • Health and Safety Manager Liaison
    • Work together to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results.
    • Deal with improvement notices where applicable.
    • Adopt client best practices and create new best practices.
  • Client Site Operatives Liaison
    • Work together to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are achieved.
    • Deal with actions from technical audits.
    • Develop and maintain competency levels.
    • Ensure coordination of activities are agreed with site operations.
  • Planning Manager Liaison
    • Construction planning and reporting on progress.
    • Inform of any lost time, delays, or potential compensation events.
  • Client Representatives Liaison
    • Progress meetings.
    • Day-to-day activities.
Administration
  • Documentation Management
    • Manage quality records, as-built information, time sheets, work records, allocation sheets, etc.
  • Meetings and Communication
    • Meet with planners, contracts managers, senior agents, project managers, etc.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Extensive experience of delivering multidiscipline projects in the Gas industry. Ideally pipeline and/or Compressor Station/AGI experience.
  • EUSR SHEA Gas competency.
  • Supervisory Management Training.
  • CSCS Managers Card.
  • IOSH/SMSTS.
  • Willing to travel on a weekly basis.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Good work ethics.
  • Able to lead a team.
  • First Aider.
  • Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor (desirable).
  • CDM Awareness.
  • NEC 3&4 Contract experience (desirable).
  • Fire Warden (desirable).
