About the Role

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our Intensive Support Service in the Bury/Heywood area of Greater Manchester. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide support and opportunities for increased independence in the community for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily living tasks, such as shopping, cooking, and personal care
  • Assist with household tasks and meeting unique personal goals
  • Work collaboratively with the support co-ordinator and service manager to ensure a well-planned transition into the new home
  • Provide a warm, compassionate, and caring approach to support individuals with complex needs
Requirements
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs
  • Ability to work dynamically between the Registered Office, service, and current care provision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical and mental resilience due to the nature of the work
