Company Overview:
TXM Recruit is seeking skilled Electricians to join our team, focusing on high-end residential projects for a prestigious property management firm.

Position Summary:
This role involves a standard workweek of 40 hours, typically Monday to Friday, with flexible hours from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. Opportunities for additional hours are abundant, with weekend shifts on a rotating schedule (approximately once every four weeks, subject to change).

Seasonal Flexibility:
During peak periods (May to October), candidates must be adaptable regarding work hours and days.

Compensation:
Salary can reach up to £38,000, with overtime compensation at time and a half for hours exceeding 40 per week.

Role Responsibilities:
The Electrician will be responsible for:

  • General maintenance and installation tasks.
  • Conducting testing, inspection, and certification of electrical systems.
  • Performing electrical installations on both three-phase and single-phase equipment.
  • Implementing LED lighting solutions.
  • Executing repairs and corrective actions on internal and external wiring systems.
  • Understanding and applying leading and trailing edge dimming systems.
  • Maintaining and installing emergency lighting systems.
  • Diagnosing wiring faults.
  • Managing electrical services in plant rooms, including motors and pumps.
  • Interpreting site plans and schematic diagrams.
  • Overseeing specialist contractors.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and management to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Participating in seasonal shifts and on-call duties.
  • Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of an apprenticeship.
  • Recognized qualifications such as C&G or NVQ.
  • BS7671 18th Edition City & Guilds certification.
  • C&G 2391 or equivalent qualifications in inspection and testing.
  • Experience with motors and star delta configurations.
  • A full, clean UK driving license.
  • Proven experience in the field.
