About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team at Keswick Leisure Centre, Cumbria. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our centre, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a welcoming and professional operational service to customers and the public.
  • Prepare areas and equipment for events and activities as required.
  • Carry out routine monitoring and maintenance of equipment and fittings, reporting any faults or major repairs to the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective control of day-to-day operations and services, maintaining security, cleanliness, customer supervision, and equipment checks.
  • Promote the facility in a positive manner to retain existing customers, encourage greater participation, and introduce new users to the centre.
