Position Overview:

The Senior Electrical Supervisor role at EMCOR UK is pivotal in managing and directing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair operations within a dedicated team. This position entails leading electricians, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and safety protocols, while fostering effective project delivery. The Senior Electrical Supervisor is instrumental in resource management, troubleshooting technical challenges, and nurturing a culture of safety and excellence in electrical practices.

  • Lead a diverse team of skilled engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, offering mentorship, direction, and support as required.
  • Strategically plan and oversee electrical projects, encompassing new installations, upgrades, and refurbishments, in partnership with project managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage project execution, resource distribution, and financial oversight to achieve project goals and timelines.
  • Deliver technical guidance and expertise to address intricate electrical challenges, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Examine technical drawings, specifications, and plans to verify precision and compliance with project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Valid Electrician certification and completion of an apprenticeship.
  • 18TH Edition certification.
  • Initial & Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391) certification.
  • Extensive experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and supervisory roles.
  • Proven skills in project management, team leadership, and technical proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, with a talent for motivating, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
