The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the health, safety and environmental compliance on site, providing leadership, guidance and support. This includes:
- Managing risk assessment and COSHH programmes
- Providing safety and environmental guidance and support on a proactive basis as well as responding as required
- Conducting HSE audits/inspections and tours
- Chairing local safety committee
- Assisting in any activity designed for the development and improvement of the company HSE system
- Helping to set and achieve local HSE objectives and working towards achievement of corporate level objectives and targets
The ideal candidate will have experience as an HSE Manager in a fast-paced and pressurized manufacturing background.
