Bridge Recruitment is pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a Senior Operations Manager to join a family-owned facilities service provider known for delivering exceptional service to clients on a global scale.

Role Summary:


As the Senior Operations Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing a newly secured contract that spans multiple regions, ensuring operational excellence across various locations.

Your responsibilities will include managing the daily operations of 24 bus depots and associated outstations, which collectively operate a fleet of 1350 vehicles.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the transport or bus sector, with a comprehensive understanding of the unique demands and continuous operational requirements inherent in this field.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct the daily operations of the contract
2. Ensure adherence to all safety, health, environmental, and quality regulations
3. Formulate and execute operational strategies aimed at boosting efficiency and service standards
4. Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and staff, cultivating a positive and effective workplace culture
5. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met or surpassed
6. Oversee operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective service provision
7. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance operational performance
8. Ensure timely and efficient maintenance of all vehicles
9. Address operational challenges or emergencies swiftly and effectively
10. Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold high operational standards

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience in an operational management capacity, preferably within the facilities or transport sector
2. Strong leadership and team management capabilities
3. Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
4. Demonstrated ability to manage operations around the clock
5. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
7. University degree or higher education qualifications preferred
8. Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
9. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications
10. Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
11. Keen attention to detail and adaptability to changing situations
12. Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery
