This role presents a unique opportunity for a dedicated and proactive pharmacist to become part of our esteemed medicines finance team. The position is designed for a temporary engagement, focusing on the management of immunoglobulins and high-cost medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Specialist Pharmacist for immunoglobulins, ensuring compliance with national guidelines and governance protocols.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Pharmacist for High-Cost Medicines Management and the broader immunoglobulins team.
- Oversee the appropriate utilization of immunoglobulins across the designated region, acting as the Professional Secretary for the relevant assessment panel.
- Provide expert clinical oversight in the management of immunoglobulins, adhering to established commissioning criteria and reporting obligations.
- Support the High-Cost Medicines Team and contribute to the implementation of value-based medicine initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- A diploma or MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or relevant postgraduate experience.
