As a leader in the energy sector, Ameresco Ltd is seeking to enhance our Project Development team with the addition of a Sustainability Analyst. This role is pivotal in advancing clean technology initiatives and renewable energy projects for diverse clientele, including governmental and private entities. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of energy efficiency and renewable energy landscapes, exhibit exceptional analytical capabilities, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital design tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze site-specific information, including utility metrics, metering data, field assessments, existing system configurations, and operational performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis, including energy consumption assessments, energy modeling, and geographic information system (GIS) evaluations.
  • Execute feasibility assessments and techno-economic evaluations across a range of renewable and sustainable technologies.
  • Support energy audits and site evaluations to pinpoint Energy Conservation Measures (ECM) at prospective client locations.
  • Draft technical documentation and manage project-related materials that detail building characteristics, system configurations, analytical findings, and potential energy savings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, ideally in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical disciplines.
  • At least one year of experience in the energy, renewable, or decarbonization sectors.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

Personal Attributes:

The successful candidate will be client-oriented, motivated, and adaptable in their work approach. They should exhibit strong organizational abilities, the capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively under pressure, and thrive in a dynamic environment across various projects. Regular travel may be required.

All candidates must be eligible to work legally in the UK and hold a valid UK driving license.
