**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will work on cutting-edge Nuclear Fusion projects, driving net-zero power generation. Your expertise will be essential in developing and reviewing process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, layout drawings, and specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Undertake work packages for major UK and international Nuclear Clients.
  • Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Layout Drawings, and Specifications.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and calculations for Fusion and Modular Nuclear Systems.
  • Produce high-quality engineering solutions across a broad range of Process Engineering topics.
  • Communicate and provide feedback to the Lead Engineer and Project Manager.
  • Conduct requirements capture, concept design, and detailed design tasks.
  • Collaborate with other FMN engineering functions and disciplines for integrated solutions.
  • Manage your own time to meet agreed timescales, cost targets, and quality standards.

**Requirements**

  • Degree qualified in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership with an accredited body.
  • Background in nuclear fusion, nuclear sector, or regulated industries like thermal power generation, oil and gas.
  • Knowledge of process plant design, flow calculations, pipe stress analysis, and FEED for process plants.
  • Experience in designing and substantiating process engineering solutions.
  • Familiarity with UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, and HAZOP.
  • Proficient in engineering software tools.

**Additional Information**

  • BPSS and SC required.
  • Ability to travel to Assystem offices and customer sites within the UK.
