We are seeking a skilled professional to lead a team in a 24-hour program that provides support and education to young children aged 6-12 who have experienced trauma. The program focuses on helping children form positive relationships, increase self-esteem, and acquire essential skills for home and school.
### Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of professionals in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people
* Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and nurturing environment
* Manage conflicts and sensitive issues to achieve positive outcomes
* Work in accordance with established policies and procedures
### Requirements:
* Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
* Previous experience working with young people in a residential social care setting
* Level 3 Children and Young People Workforce Diploma or willingness to obtain within 12 months
* Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills
* Excellent verbal communication skills
