We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity with Baker Recruitment Group Ltd. for a seasoned Operations Manager specializing in Logistics and Cold Storage. This role is pivotal in overseeing the chilled supply chain operations, ensuring that all activities at the depot are executed with precision and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and oversee supplier agreements to facilitate uninterrupted operations.
- Collaborate with procurement teams and clients to optimize product offerings and supply methods.
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments to fulfill customer requirements.
- Direct the warehouse and transport functions, ensuring top-tier operational performance.
- Review financial plans and manage costs to enhance efficiency.
- Implement and uphold industry regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- Resolve supply chain challenges and customer grievances effectively.
- Promote a culture of health and safety throughout the facility and among staff.
Qualifications:
- CPC National/International certification.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics and supply chain oversight.
- Proficient in logistics and inventory management systems.
- Experience in managing cold storage facilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing workflows.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong commitment to fostering a safety-first environment.
