We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our Civil Litigation team in Manchester. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in managing a caseload of debt recovery matters from inception to settlement, working closely with our team of experienced lawyers and litigation executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of debt recovery matters, including preparing and issuing court claims, conducting research, and analyzing debtor financial information to assess potential recovery options.
  • Prioritize your caseload and maintain accurate correspondence and documentation, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and other members of staff.
  • Deliver high-quality work, meeting billing and other key performance indicators, and contributing to the team's overall success.

Requirements

  • Existing commercial litigation experience, either in debt recovery or insolvency, with a solid understanding of the relevant laws and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • First-class client care and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
