Role Overview

As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing the needs of students within school settings. You'll develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support their development and participation in educational activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' sensory, motor, and self-care skills to determine eligibility for Occupational Therapy provision within their Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to address specific student needs and facilitate their participation in school activities.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the student's educational plan.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and a child-centered approach.
  • Document student progress and outcomes accurately and effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals with:

  • A recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy (e.g., Master's degree in Occupational Therapy).
  • Registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Experience working with children in a school or clinical setting.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
