About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Integrated Therapies Service. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with children and young people (CYP) aged 0-18 years who have a range of developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions to CYP with diverse needs, including those with physical, sensory, cognitive, or learning difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for CYP.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and contribute to the ongoing development of paediatric occupational therapy services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in paediatrics.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy assessments and interventions for CYP.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to client-centered care and a passion for working with children and young people.
