Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Paediatrics

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Paediatrics. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing the needs of children and developing targeted interventions to support their development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's sensory, motor, and self-care skills to determine eligibility for Occupational Therapy provision.
  • Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to address children's specific needs and facilitate their participation in school activities.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate Occupational Therapy goals into children's educational plans and learning environment.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of intervention effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to optimise outcomes.
  • Conduct training and support to teaching staff on strategies and techniques to promote children's functional skills and independence within the classroom setting.
Requirements:
  • HCPC and RCOT registration
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working within specialist paediatric settings (desirable)
