Position Overview

DPP is a reputable national consultancy specializing in planning solutions for a diverse range of clients throughout the UK. We are currently seeking an Assistant Town Planner to contribute to various projects from our Leeds office, with a requirement to be present at least three days a week.

This role presents a valuable opportunity to advance your career while assisting in the provision of outstanding planning services across multiple sectors, including but not limited to education, energy, defense, healthcare, residential, retail, and large-scale mixed-use developments. Our clientele includes prominent land developers, housing firms, and retail businesses.

Essential Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  1. Degree accredited by RTPI or a related field
  2. Progressing towards MRTPI chartership
  3. 0-1 years of relevant experience or internships
  4. Strong organizational skills with effective time management
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  6. Solid understanding of the planning framework
  7. Commercial insight
  8. Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
