Residential Services Coordinator

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary: £32,242 - £33,939 annually

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Services Coordinator to join our dedicated housing team in South Yorkshire. This position involves collaborating with the local housing team to provide exceptional housing management services across the region. You will ensure that our properties remain safe and appealing living environments while overseeing that tenancies are managed effectively. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to handle various situations and cultivate essential relationships between Sanctuary and our residents. You will be expected to work professionally to address issues and enhance services.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Residential Services Coordinator, your role will encompass delivering top-notch housing management services throughout South Yorkshire. Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer inquiries from our housing management and repair call centers
  • Conducting property viewings
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new tenants
  • Overseeing general tenancy management, including handling Anti-Social Behaviour cases
  • Conducting scheme risk assessments
  • Performing home visits and property inspections
  • Ensuring compliance with gas and fire safety regulations

Additionally, you will be required to provide support to central services and collaborate with internal teams to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients. The role may also involve supervising housing scheme managers for older persons.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in the social housing sector
  • Familiarity with relevant housing laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to maintain electronic records
  • Knowledge of effective resident engagement practices
  • A valid driving license is essential due to travel requirements
