Position Overview
Our client is seeking to appoint an MRICS qualified Senior Building Consultant in their expanding office. This role is pivotal as the firm continues to grow and enhance its service offerings.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess MRICS qualifications with a minimum of 5 years of experience, demonstrating a wide-ranging expertise in various building surveying services across multiple sectors.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Ability to produce meticulously prepared and precise documentation.
- Strong report writing capabilities.
- Operational understanding of administrative and project cost management.
- Comprehension of commercially driven delivery principles and effective resource utilization.
- Proficient in working independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Willingness to mentor and support the growth of the Building Surveying team.
- Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
- Flexibility to travel as project demands dictate.
- Possession of a full driving license.
Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering essential building surveying services, including:
- Contract Administration and Project Delivery.
- JCT Contract Administration (Minor and Intermediate Forms).
- Defect Analysis and Remediation.
- Specification Development.
- Design Services (Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous).
